About us
LivingGreen has been created by Erika Best and Steve Land, to provide a dynamic
and professional interior and exterior plant and landscaping service
to businesses and private individuals. It has grown out of a passion for
plants as well as a desire to live a more ethical and eco-friendly life and
evolved from the placing of a few plants around the library at Norwich City College,
where Erika worked at the time. These were so well received and appreciated
that the idea of providing green plants to other institutions and businesses
was born. Erika Best and Steve Land have a shared desire to bring the beauty
and power of nature into other people's lives and to pass on knowledge about
their benefits to human health.
Erika has a background in education and experience in many spheres including photography and business. She is responsible for growing the indoor plants and providing the interior landscaping.
Steve has an Environmental Science degree, has served on Norwich City
Council for the Green Party and has worked as an adult tutor, particularly
in the field of 'garden science'. He has co-authored a booklet, "Smart Plants"
about GM crops, for the organisation Farmers' Link, as well as having many
years experience in landscaping and garden design.
